 Appendix B. FRANCHISES
 Article VI. ARCO PIPELINE COMPANY FRANCHISE

  § 4. Acceptance of franchise.

Latest version.

  • The grantee shall file its written acceptance of this franchise with the city secretary of the City of South Houston within thirty (30) days from the date of the passage hereof and shall thereupon be bound by all of the terms and conditions hereof. The franchise herein granted shall commence and inure to the benefit of the grantee, effective immediately, with the filing of such written acceptance hereof by grantee. The grantee shall not commence any work or construction of any type within the right-of-way limits of any street or public property until the final passage and acceptance of this franchise. Also made a part of this agreement shall be the request of the City of South Houston that the grantee shall use personnel of the City of South Houston Police Department to give proper protection to all concerned during the construction and laying of this line.

    PASSED ON FIRST READING by the City Council of the City of South Houston, Texas, in regular meeting in the City Hall this 1st day of November, A.D., 1977.
