§ 2-26. Finance department financial procedures and internal controls.

(a)

The city council finds it necessary for the adoption of formal written procedures to be utilized by the city finance department and departments of the city making financial transactions whether accounts payable or accounts receivable.

(b)

The written procedures found in exhibit A hereto attached shall be the official written policies and procedures for the city's finance department and other such departments making financial transactions. Exhibit "A" shall be made a part of the financial procedures manual of the city. The manual shall from time to time be expanded by the adoption of further financial procedures through the city council.
