§ 8-32. General powers and duties.

(a)

The electrical board shall be responsible for making interpretations of the rules for deciding upon the approval of equipment, material installation techniques, and granting special permission for the condition, material and installations not covered herein. Permission for such deviation shall be obtained in writing from the electrical board.

(b)

The electrical board shall select reputable agencies to give examinations for master electricians, electrical sign contractors, maintenance electricians, and journeyman electrician's licenses. All questions and disagreements with the examinations shall be directed to the agency giving the examination.

(c)

No member of the electrical board shall be given an electrical examination.
