§ 8-146. Permit for maintenance electrician's employer.

(a)

An annual permit is required for any person or firm employing a maintenance electrician licensed by the City of South Houston to perform electrical maintenance work within the confines of a building in or on the premises where he is employed. The application for the annual permit shall be made on the form provided by the city permit department and shall contain a description of the location and the maintenance work anticipated.

(b)

The fee of the annual permit shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and shall expire on December 31st each year.

(c)

The maintenance electrician shall be required to obtain a permit to move and relocate electrical equipment authorized to be done under the terms and provisions of this chapter.
